I have a new regular column in the SWMUG Newsletter called "The Free Stuff Guide" in which each newsletter I'll review my favourite free Windows mobile utilities and games. In the August newsletter I review Wisbar Advanced (a task manager and theming utility), and The Nutcraker (a game). View the August newsletter here:

MEDC, Sydney

I was at MEDC (Mobile and Embedded Developers Conference) today, and was actually a bit disappointed with the technical content of the presentations. OK, so you know when you go to these things that they're going to basically be a platform for the marketing division of Microsoft to sell us Visual Studio 2005 (when it comes out), but I would have liked some more in-depth technical presentations on compact framework development rather than the "Introduction To" that all the tracks seemed to be. Just my 2 cents anyhow...

Yes, Yet Another Blog In The World...

Yes, it's happened, I've finally started a blog. I've been meaning to for ages now, but just have never got around to it. I was at MEDC (the Mobile and Embedded Developer Conference) in Sydney today, and many people seemed to just know each other only from reading each other's blogs!

So I've jumped onto the blogging bandwagon to see if I can raise my (somewhat non-existant) profile in the .NET development community, and hope that there are people out there who actually want to read what I have to say. I hope to cover a range of topics from software development, to music, and through to life, the universe and anything that takes my fancy (or raises my ire) at the time. All feedback and any hello's to show that there is actually someone out there reading will be appreciated!
